A Celebration
of Friends and Great Times
There are times when even fly fishermen get
dressed up. But in this case it's for other fly fishermen at
the Fly Fishers of Harrisburg Banquet. Always a good time if
not too long a night for the next day with only average food
but with great speakers and great camaraderie. This photo says
it all.
Not a stock brokers convention but the
Fly Fishers of Harrisburg gathering with the late brother
Zyg, Al Stansberry and friends.
Sometimes you meet people of great modesty.
Tommy Thomas was such a person. He was the fly fishing
companion of Charlie Fox, Rossy Trimmer, and Joe Brooks just to
name a few. He was always a blast and I miss him dearly. He
gave me his secret sunken ants and I tied him my secret nymph
patterns to fish out west. Just a class act all the way.

Here with one of my fine cigars. Tommy was the
fishing buddy of Charlie Fox, Joe Brooks and Ross Trimmer
just to name a few. An absolute gem of a man and
fisherman.
Even in his later days Charlie Fox was always
the consummate gentleman. Here at the Letort Picnic in has
later days Charlie walked with the help of cane but loved
coming to the picnics and obviously enjoyed the great company
of fishing friends.
The late Charlie Fox enjoys a great
conversation at the Letort Regulars' Picnic. Charlie just
loved these times.
Two fly fishing legends signing books. I tried
to get Ed to laugh but I missed it in the photo.
